The coordinator develops and organizes the daily operations of nursing professional development department to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the hospital, health system. 

Responsibilities: 

?Coordinates nursing professional development activities and acts as a liaison between the nursing staff and administration to ensure that the administrative responsibilities of the department are met. 

?Provides technical and administrative support to the nursing professional development meetings as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to agendas, minutes, reports etc.

 ?Maintains a current and accurate nursing and nursing support roster utilizing the learning management system. ?Monitors on-going learning management activities which include expiration of certifications, eLearning compliance, classes and attendance, and other regulation requirements. ?Orders office supplies as needed and ensures office supply expenditures stay within budget guidelines. 

?Coordinates paperwork for academic partnerships and clinical experiences. Assists and supports all clearance activities system wide as directed by the director of nursing professional development. 

?Supports during regulatory surveys for nursing and nursing support requirements. ?Provides assistance to the nursing professional development department for the Western Region of WMCHealth Network as requested by the System Director. 

?Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications/Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1 year of Office Coordinator experience required. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 Licenses / Certifications: N/A Other: Proficient in designated PC systems: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Graphic: Adobe, Learning management systems knowledge.
