Overview

At Porter Heart and Vascular Center, the Registered Nurse plays a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality cardiovascular care. This position supports patient assessment, education, treatment, and coordination of care while ensuring clinical standards are consistently met. The RN works closely with providers and the care team to promote positive patient outcomes, support timely clinical decision-making, and provide an exceptional patient experience throughout the continuum of care.

Pay & Benefits:

• Compensation: $34.96 - $57.92 hourly wage based on experience and education

• Shifts Available:

  Full Time; Days; 40hr/wk; 5x 8-hour shifts Monday thru Friday

Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in a non-acute environment. Provides care in accordance with organizational policies, and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice, utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. Is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. Utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data, plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

Responsibilities

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

Qualifications

Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.

Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job.

Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification preferred.
